 GreenWeavers CUUPS Greenville, North Carolina
The Green Weavers CUUPS group at UUCG was formed at Beltane in 2008 to build on the already strong connections between the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Greenville and the local pagan community.
Our mission statement:
Green Weavers CUUPS, affiliated with the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Greenville, North Carolina, strives to provide a safe and nurturing community to network, celebrate, learn and grow together. We are intentionally inclusive followers of all spiritual paths and traditions who come with an open heart and mind to work in harmony together. We share the collective wisdom of the past and the present, encouraging leadership and participation of all members. We are in sympathy with the CUUPS statement of purpose, the UUA principles and the mission of UUCG. Through education, outreach and fellowship, we will build a safer, beneficial environment for people following an earth-centered path in our local area.
- We celebrate the turning of the year about every six weeks including the solstices, equinoxes and the cross-quarters (February 2, May 1, August 1 and October 31). (Wheel of the Year explained on Wikipedia)
- We offer classes and workshops periodically.
- Our events are listed on the UUCG Web Calendar.
You can get announcements of upcoming events by joining our yahoo group.
