Small Group Ministries
Covenant Groups was a program that was attempted several years ago at UUCG, with some success, but is currently
inactive. We still have numerous small-group ministries which might be of interest to you. Small Group Ministries allow for participants to experience the closeness of a small group within the larger congregation.
Some of these activities/ministries are:
- Book Discussion Club (meets monthly)
- Caring Ministry (a group led by the minister to coordinate care for members ailing or dealing with crisis)
- Choir (meets weekly on Wednesday nights)
- Meditation Group (meets monthly)
- The Forum Discussion Group (meets Sundays @ 9:30am)
- Tuesday Morning Breakfast Group (meets weekly at K&W)
- Teen Youth Group (weekly RE classes and monthly social events)
- Young Adults Group (meets monthly)
Members of the former Earth-Based Spirituality Covenant Group have now formed a chapter of CUUPs (Covenant of UU Pagans. See the GreenWeavers CUUPs page.
If you are interested in any of these groups, speak to the minister or any board member who will get you in touch with the appropriate contact for any of these groups.
